It might be higher/lower hell if I know. But will you all be satisfied with 720p or would you cry/bitch and moan if its not 1080p or higher?

I personally will still not own an HDTV by then so I really could care less. I play PS3 on SDTV and games still look amazing imo. So 720p wll get the job done for you?

The next Nintendo console will be in 1080p.
We're still in the transition period of 720p right now.

I'll be satisfied with some addictions in the controllers. Graphics however they will look like will be ok.

I think that it is fair to expect that Nintendo probably won't be that interested in pushing out the newest of fastest hardware in the next generation and will probably put together a system that is somewhere between 4 and 8 times the performance of the HD consoles. Now, at this performance range if you're displaying imagest at 720p @60fps it will be fairly difficult to produce dramatically better looking images without increasing processing power by an order of magnitude.

Id perfer 720p that plays well instead of 1080p thats choppy as hell.

Until my current TV in my room breaks, I'll be playing on a CRT SDTV. So 720p doesn't matter to me at this time.

The massess have spoken and currently say 480p is enough. Next gen the masses still won't care at what rate it will run at. I will matter is 40 years down the road the Wii6 ran at 480p
