GRAN TURISMO. sony's 1st party games for all PS consoles (Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Polyphony Digital), Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil (Capcom is an expert on screwing PS fans), and super violent games (GTA, GOW, DMC), as well as RPGs. and there are far more reasons than that. PS1 could play CDs (obviously now an outdated reason), PS2 was also a DVD player, PS3 has blu-ray/lots of multimedia features.

The Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 had the most good games.

It was pretty much that simple.

Same reason the Wii is my favorite now.

I like the systems that have the most games i like. I know. I'm sick.

I've been playing games since the 2600. I fell for the PS1 because it had the first truly comfortable controller for console, the games were moremature and interesting and I found the whole disc showing video thing apealling(I still gripe about loading times though) .



 Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

I guess you missed the GOTY awards and January's most wanted list. It would appear Sony is still the leader in this regard :)

I got a ps3 over a Wii or XBOX 360, because I never had a playstation console, and the 60gb ps3 with its BC, opened up a huge amount of games for me to play.

The ps3 has easily been my best console this generation, and Im happy with my decision, im just saddened that its the console to target with utter bull crap from fanboys.

Maybe if you buy games for it, you would think differently.

FF7 got me into the playstation name, the ps2 cemented my loyalty.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

The plethora of titles on the ps2 got me on the PS bandwagon, and this gen made me a fan of Sony's first party stuff in particular. Around the time the ps3 launched, I realized that almost half (12 out of 25) of my ps2 titles were published by Sony. Thus far, all but two (MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles) of my ps3 titles are published by Sony, and in the future, the only non-Sony titles I'm interested in are the FF titles.

So now I buy both Sony and Nintendo consoles for one reason: amazing first party offerings.
