Yeah, there are. I haven't done much research on them (yet, anyway), but you should be able to find similar X-year trends in other sectors of the entertainment industry. 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, and 80 year cycles seem to pop up a lot in human behavior in general, so it's hardly shocking that cycles of similar length pop up elsewhere. You can even see cycles of those particular increments in this industry (yearly sales trends, bi-yearly periods of release ups and downs, 5-year intervals between generations, 10-year intervals between shifts in industry focus, 20-year intervals between industry reboots...).
Although you do have to be careful. It's very, very easy to see patterns where there aren't patterns, or to see a pattern which isn't really a pattern at all when you look at the bigger picture. What we want to see has an immense impact on what we actually see.
