plus nintendo actually advertised this really effectively. this title actually came up in conversation at a family diner party. nintendo really does have such a broad range of titles its insane

Nintendo is "pimping" these personal development titles, to cause the DS and Wii to branch out.  I actually am doing Spanish Tutor on the DS every day now.  I find it helps the short term memory, even if my knowledge of Spanish hasn't grown that much.

And this personal development angle is getting Nintendo to make boatloads of money.  I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo ends up being a competitor with Apple in the iPhone arena considering what it is doing now.

I still prefer proper books, easier on the eyes.

Only Wii owners are allowed to talk about sales, especially when no one else is. You just stick to talking about nothign but games, like you always have and always will.
