Forums - Nintendo - DS top screen problem

I just bought a 2 DS's for my daughters and I am having a bit of a problem with one of them. The Mario DS has a bubble on the top screen. Actually it isn't a bubble but it looks like the protective screen is touching the LCD screen in the center. Its not a big deal playing wise and it bothers me much more than my little girl, but then again she didn't drop the 130 dollars on it. I am not sure if I am overreacting or not just wanted to know if anyone had a solution. I have tried taping the screen but that hasn't seemed to work. Could be moisture(from humidity) but I really think the plactic of the screen is actually concaved and bends into the center of the LCD. BTW the size of the "bubble" is les than dime and is most noticeable when the screen is off. I would be greatful for any help thanx

Around the Network

Just take it back to the Retailer you bought it from, They'll exchange it.

I had the same problem with the first DS lite i bought, Except the screen was shifted alittle too much to the left and there was this thin white line that bugged the hell out of me. I took it back to them and explained and got a diffrent one.

Its wierd it went away after i pulled off the screen protector pulled it away from the lcd just enough. And I would just like to add Holy Shit it is imposible almost to find DS's now Nintendo is rolling in cash.

You put a protective piece of plastic on the TOP screen? The one that doesn't get touched by the stylus. Why? And if it's just the screen protector. Rip it off and keep it off.  The top screen definitely doesn't need a screen protector.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

What the guy with DS in his name said: You really don't need a screen protector on the top screen.
