If it only sells 20k a week this year (which is the lower limit because it never fell below that last year) then it will sell 1 million.

Halo 3 AND Gears 1 both did 90k - 100k last week ....

Sales for the 360 will be higher this year (at least in Q1/2) so thats the offset for Halo 3 being in its second year.

With the boost from ODST and Christmas it WILL reach 10 million. so from 2010+ it will only sell 500k? ... no offense but I don't think you thought your prediction through either.

Well, considering the potential world audience, given the average % of population with the typical features, world population now compared to the 70's-80's, and that Village People sold 85million albums mainly distributed amongst their 10 most successful titles, a good Halo chapter featuring Master Chief can exceed 10million copies sold. Possible future chapters without Master Chief couldn't count on Village People audience instead, so the reckoning is more difficult.

I will go with atleast 11 million and probably more. Once the price comes down to 19.99 it should have a slight sales spurt. And it will all depend on how well Halo Wars and ODST does. That could also help boost sales.

So some of these "crazy" numbers do have a chance of coming true, its just highly unlikely.
