the industry doesn't need saved, every generation the total console sales increase from the previous generation. Games are becoming as big as movies.

The the wii having child-oriented games doesn't help anything. All the shovelware it has doesn't help either (or the fact that people buy the shovelware).

um...no....the wii is....um...isn't doing anything besides "innovating"

The PS2 was heading the wrong way...

apparently the industry got drunk after 6th gen party at sony, then ended up in bad a neighborhood with no ride home, Wii gave the industry a ride.

The Wii isn't the only system with child oriented games, the Xbox 360 comes packed with Lego indiana jones or sega superstars tennis, and the characters on the front of Littlebigplanet don't look to mature to me.
