People don't think much, that's the problem.

I mean, look at the PC. Undoubtedly one of the most casual-friendly platforms with lots of simple games everyone plays, yet I see no one saying the PC is killing gaming... At least I hope I don't.

Isn't it obvious when someone is trolling?  There are far worse consoles made like the CDi, Jaguar, Virtual Boy, etc...

 well I didnt say those because those are obviously crap, I just assumed that people knew I already hated those the most.

You also claimed all of Wii's games are destroying the industry... further more implied all Wii games are like Carnival Games... which by the way is a user friendly game but about as close to shovelware as Mario Party which isn't shovelware... it's just a game to tool around with and have fun with friends... but to say all Wii games are destroying the industry, then say they're like Carnival games... is major trolling... I think you're mad at the fact that Wii has one of the best rated games of all time SMG =P

 lol people that think all 736 games are the same are what's ruining the industry, could help explain the poor sales of some wii games!

 I found carnival games hard actually, but thats just me.

well it is true some of what he said.

But why would you spend more money making a HD game when you could just make a SD game for the wii which has more console sales.

Devs could make the games so much better on PS360 than Wii. And he's right about how the Wii is holding Zelda back, it could do so much more on a PS3.

I am getting a bit annoyed at these whining about Wii sales and saying how it is "destroying" the videogame industry. As I see it, this is what the complaint about Wii sales says:
1. Sony pulling the ability for the PS3 to play PS2 games was a good thing, because it saves Sony owners from having to look at Playstation 2 level graphics. Sony should also go further and remove the ability to play original Playstation games also.
2. The ONLY controller people should use to play videogames is a joypad. Rock Band and Guitar Heroes should get rid of their controllers, and play these games the way REAL gamers play, with joypad controller. Same goes with bowling or anything else out there.
3. Bowling and other Wii Sports games are not really games. Games are ONLY interactive storytelling that you beat. Yes, games are things you beat playing against a computer, not something you beat someone else at.
4. Any changes in how people play videogames, should ONLY involve upgrades in graphics.
5. Game systems that drive people who don't normally play videogames, to play them differently than the way videogame hobbyists play is BAD and will ruin the industry.
6. RPGs are meant to be based upon better and better graphics, and need them.

What I see is a LOT of insecurity here.

You could probably replace "Wii" with PS2 in just about every sentence in that post... Since games could have been so much better graphically or otherwise on the XBox or GameCube... Not to mention that what makes some games really great is the motion controls, which can't be done on the PS3/360. No More Heroes wouldn't really be all that great on the other consoles because the controls really add to it... not to mention the devs can't afford HD graphics, which is why the graphics in the game are cell shaded, so it wouldn't look much better, but cost a lot more, be less fun... and would probably not sell as much because of all that.

But since all 736 games on the Wii are party mini game crap, and all those games are destroying the industry... oh well.
