"Yes, the controls are better than any shooter i've ever played(new gamer), but that's not the problem."

"The Game looks like crap. I can't play wii games now that im so used to 360 graphics."

Needless to say, he was using composite cables connected to a 50" 720p HDTV. The 360 was connected over HDMI.

Sadly, yes. I bought MP3 on day 1, and I was satisfied with the graphics. I went back and played it a couple of weeks ago, and it didn't look anywhere near as good as I remembered. Still one of the best games of this gen, but it's not graphically awe inspiring at all.

And you wanna know what game looks even worse? No More Heroes! Damn, technology is improving at a rapid rate!! Good games are aging fast.

If he's got it connected in an inferior manner, and can't properly utilize widescreen mode or 480p res, then of course it's not going to be able to compare.

It's probably not ALL in the graphics front, but yeah it's graphics are significantly worse :/ The big problem with the difference between Wii and PS360 are the amount of raw data that can be tossed around. More ambient crap which helps the experience, like more enemies, further draw distances, more on-screen cross fire, etc etc etc. It all adds on pretty quickly for the overall experience.

No matter how you connect your wii to your tv, it just can't compare.

Assuming an LCD, it's probably the upscaler is his TV is poor and he is getting terrible jaggies.  That is a terrible missmatch in resolution.  Not all upscallers in HD TVs are created equal, and that will make more of a difference then the type of cables you connected with...

Have him try it on a tube or plasma TV if he can, or something that can support 480P natively.

I do call BS, though. If he can't play a current-gen game with graphics that surpass last gen, then he can't play anything from last gen or earlier. No Halo 2, no Fable, no GTA III, no Splinter Cell, Morrowind, DoA3, etc.

No anything prior to this generation, and I find it difficult to say someone's that big of a graphics whore to not be able to play anything older than this gen.
