So far it looks like:

FPS - Resistance
Racing - Motorstorm
DMC clone - Ninja Gaiden and soon Heavenly Sword
Warhawk might also be worth it if you enjoy online and Halo-style combined arms shooters

Obviously the next part in any franchise you've found particularly enjoyable in the past. Lots of sequels to big PS2 games coming within the next year or so.

I wouldn't get one now.. all the great AAA games havn't come out and probably won't till summer 08.

Also rumours have already started about a spring Price cut.

But if you really want to play games this holiday then you should get a 360... just look at the games available (and no I'm not talking about Halo 3). At least that way you'll get your money's worth.

I wouldn't recommend the xbox360 until we're sure the thing won't break / hang / explode or anything else.

Besides, he allready said he was getting a ps3, and the previous posts allready gave some options.
