I wouldn't get one now.. all the great AAA games havn't come out and probably won't till summer 08.
Also rumours have already started about a spring Price cut.
But if you really want to play games this holiday then you should get a 360... just look at the games available (and no I'm not talking about Halo 3). At least that way you'll get your money's worth.
