Hmmm... wonder if this is the secret project that 'Monster Games' (ExciteTruck guys) are working on? The tech from ExciteTruck (terrain deformation, large, open levels, physics) seems ideal for this sort of game.
I also think they did a fantastic job on ExciteTruck - enough to allow Ninty to trust them with PilotWings... hmmm...
I'll be stoked if this is it...

Because Nintendo didn't do that last spring or winter? I feel like Nintendo has been releasing their franchises in waves. It seems like a weird strategy and it leads to holiday seasons where there are NO big releases but nintendo still does it.
Regardless, I'm not gonna get my hopes up as too manyof these rumors prove for naught.

@Nightdragon, Dude you got to see SkyCrawlers vids on youtube. That game is friggin amazing for controls, really well thought out and perfect for wiimote and nunchuk.
Whether there is a US release though, who knows.
