I waited 12 hours in line for my Wii's And alot of those are not at target.

i got my wii on launch day from circuit city website. then i got another one early feb off circuit city site again. never had to wait. just lucky both times to see it there as soon as i pressed the refresh button on ie.

I didnt. I didnt expect much out of the PS3 at launch, so I was gonna wait, becuase I expected major problems. ETC. 2 days after x-mas I saw one and said. Screw it. I havent heard of any major problems with it's hardware. Who cares. 1 hour after I had it running I was saying. "OMG. I paid 250$ for the Wii? OMG."

a friend of mine lined up 12hrs on black friday and got the 60gig. as soon as he got it, he and his friends went to lunch, then went back in line 1 hour later, and within hour and half, got a 20gig. lucky him, made some profit out of it.

I don't care. Nintendo can give me news whenever they want, doesn't matter to me. They're never that big on GDC anyway.

Nintendo are genius. Microsoft and Sony get into their defensive positions, then Nintendo does a jump-fake and coasts straight past them down the lane for an easy layup. Sony and Microsoft are gonna end up bludgeoning each other at GDC, while Nintendo keeps posession of the ball until they choose to let go. This is frustrating for fans, but I can't see how anybody can consider this not good news for Nintendo.

Because they have to share the limelight. It's not like Nintendo magically doesn't have announcements anymore. They just choose not to announce them during a three-way competition. Eventually, Nintendo is going to make the same announcements they would have during GDC, but when the announcements are made, both Sony and Microsoft will have used up all their good material, and the whole press will be focusing on Nintendo.
