At least it looks way better that the lackluster TGS trailer. It shaping up to be a good game .But I dont like too much these From Software "western-like" efforts as Kings Field ....

I never saw a trailer in TGS... I saw a demo version of someone who didnt know what they were doing then like last month i saw another semo who was better and didnt just stay on the bridge
I'm really liking the look of this game. It sucks that it'll probably be crap.

Making do you think it could turn out to but some sort of weird mix between RE and Shadow?
It looks like a reall slow Chaos Legion in HD to me lol.

The character movements are still very rigged and stiff. He actually moves like a robot. I have a suspicion that they intentionally made him walk in the first few scenes to keep his clunky movements to a minimum, effectivley cloaking the the problem.
Fix the gameplay and the game could be decent, otherwise I think it's going to get slated.
I also wouldn't get my hopes up given that the dev is From Software.
Have they ever actually made a good game? I think the Armoured Core and Tenchu franchises were always only ever average or slightly above. The new Ninja Blade videos aren't looking so hot either.
Bad From Software, Bad!

Oh Please let it be like Oblivion! Not the dull combat, but the robust storytelling with expansive quests. If the gameplay has hundreds of quests to do with inventive NPCs I will buy it.
Graphics definitely were a step up from what the first trailer showed. They seem to have worked out the kinks.

@Bolded- Exactly, thats what first caught my eye, the graphics got toned up really well, its better then oblivion at this point, yet not quite on par with fall 3, but still lookin much better then it did before.

Yeah.... I'm withholding judgment on this game. It might be decent.... but it's developed by From software. They're not exactly bastions of quality.

The game looks pretty Western. I do believe it is being developed by a japanese studio correct? If so, then maybe Japan is finally catching on to the revolution being done in WRPGs like Mass Effect and Oblivion. If this game can pull off that kind of freedom I will be one happy camper. PLEASE dont let it be another too Human -_-!
And the controls of the character don't look that bad either. If my memory serves right, Oblivion had horendous controls and a wonky battle animations to go with it. I still love that game to death regardless of its flawed combat(odd 0.o)
I encourage PS3 owners to give it the benefit of the dought before righting it off as a sub par game. I have this game will probably be very similar to games such as oblivion and fallout yet the reviews will beg to differ saying things about controls and combat blah blah. Kind of how reviews thrashed Resistance 2 for creating a perfect Halo/COD control scheme, "Oh its not like the first one anymore, WHAAA!" even though they supposedly hated the first game's controls.
Sigh.......just please be a good game and not another let down this gen.
