I enjoyed it the first time through but recently I replayed it and I find the aim sensitivity is terrible no matter what I do. I hope the sequel is much improved.

In fact, apart from Hale, some of the weapons, and some of the enemies, it's a completely different game.

I say Resistance 2 is better than every Ratchet and Clank game except Up Your Arsenal. It's about equal with Tools of Destruction, actually, and a little better than Going Commando. Pretty hard to compare a platformer to an FPS.

You know Insomniac only made the first three Spyro games, right?

I'm surprised; the R&C games are probably my favorite. I don't think I could honestly call any of their games bad though, I've had so much fun with all of them. =D

By the way, R2 is definitely better than R:FoM, especially the co-op. You definitely have to give it a try, and don't judge it on the first game.

Well thats your loss, its quite a good game even now. Much better than Gears of War I don't care what the metacritic ratings or sales say.

Well, PS3 owners had resistance, 360 owners had perfect dark zero ...

I actually thought the single player campaign of Resistance was astounding myself. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The original bled mediocrity through-and-through. I have no idea why so many put it on a pedestal.

Haven't played the second version yet. Hopefully it's a lot better.

I quite enjoyed the first game, i beat the SP mode 7 times even. In my mind R2 has a much worse SP, and it has almost all of its online features removed compared to RFoM. God only knows why IG would take out so many great things that made the online so much fun in the first game. Many people i have talked to while playing Co-op feel the exact same way.

Likewise, I have no idea why so many call it mediocre.  I suppose it's just a difference of opinions - you can't not have fun when you're using the best selection of weapons ever, IMO.  The gameplay itself was nothing special..the weapons made the game...which isn't a good thing to say about any game necessarily, and I'm not saying it's the best shooter ever or it's better than this or that.  I'm just saying it was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
