Lol it's more than likely a translation error of a translation error from Japanese. i.e. slip-up. Yamauchi more or less confirmed 2009, and his assertion hasn't been denied by PD yet.

Well, you asked him where he got it from, when the link was up there. Just looking at the link could have told you where he got it from (unless the link wasn't up there, then in that case, I apologize). And this thread is in gaming, so it should be obvious that it's not only about Nintendo, or it would have been in the Nintendo forum (or if he mistakenly placed it in gaming, then he would have edited the OP to say it should be in the Nintendo forum). And lastly, it's not Soriku's fault that some of the Japanese developers are choosing to focus on talking about the consoles which are selling the most in their country.
