Well, that was a great game, although with relatively low production values. As for Dissidia, it's best to see for yourself.

I think you mean they should start putting 3D remakes on the PSP. Of the actual remakes, those are 2D (FFI, FFII, FFT, and Star Ocean I & II). |
Exactly. They should put 3D remakes on the PSP. It just makes more sense, imo.
@ Khuttra
What remakes have badly? FF 1 and 2? Surely not FFT on PSP, because that one outsold FFTA2 on the mighty DS, RPG King.

I never claimed anything of the sort.

I think you did. Or did I interpret that wrong?

There is a difference between saying they have not done well and saying they have not done poorly; when I said that, I meant in comparison to their brothers on the other handheld, which have outsold them from anywhere from 4-8 times as much.

FF 1 and FF 2 were outsold by FF3 and FF4 by a large margin, but there are reasons to that moreso than the DS's higher usebase. FF 3 was never release in America and neither of the two have been remade as much as FF 1 and 2 which saw a GBA remakes 3 years ago I believe. (And at a cheaper price! $30 for both but it would cost you $60 to get both of the PSP ones)

FFIV was released on the Advance, too, and more recently.
But yes, there are other factors.
I don't see why anyone's so upset that they're remaking these games. It's like the movie industry. No one gets upset when they put out higher-resolution vesions of classic movies on Blu-Ray--what's the problem here?
I haven't heard of it being remade for the DS yet, but I have it for the GBA and it's really good. I really hope they remake it for the DS because I have FF4 for the DS and it's really great and after playing FF6 for the GBA, I love the game, it's one of my favorite games and has a great story too so I'd love to see it remade on the DS.

But when HD DVD was around, people got upset when a movie was released on the "wrong" format.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
