Cutscene and story haters should take a look at the above. Gamers want good storylines above everything else. I concur. |
We all know the Japanese loved stories in their games but I'm suprised that the Europeans do too. At the same time, I'm not suprised because it is naturally easier to like certain games when you care about the characters and what happens in the story. ex. JRPGs
I hope this game sells because the development team put so much money into it. The games could turn out to become of the most original JRPGs in a long time.
That trailer is incredible! Do want!
I want this game bad. Looks like a very good story driven game from the trailer. The mood to me and i repeat to me reminds me of FF7. I will no doubt be getting this game. The art and character are beautiful and amazing.
This is what I want from 3rd parties: quality games. I don't want Carnival Games, Game Party, High School Musical.....Please Japanese people, BUY this game!
I still don't understand why games like Fatal Frame 4 only sold 80.000 units when there is almost 2 million of users in Japan that bought Super Smash Bros Brawl...

Most likely because Brawl appeals to the mainstream while Fatal Frame IV only appeals to a small group of hardcore gamers.
Japanese need to buy this game. I think 200K would be good enough to convince Namco Bandai to release this in the West.
fatal frame is a very niche title from the get go and always has been. fragile seems more main stream. People will buy it for the beauty of the animation alone and what seems like a very good story.

Exactly much hype has this game gotten in Japan? That's a pretty good indication of how well the game will sell.
At least it should do 200.000, although I think it has to sell much more....I have seen enough, I do not trust Japanese people...
