I beg to differ, that's very shallow.  Especially since the person you quoted looks like they themselves need encouragement to lose weight.  And according to whom is 120lbs the ideal weight for all women?  People come in different heights, shapes and races.  Normal weight for one group could be underweight or overweight for another.  I do agree with Avinash' point though, Wii Fit encourages people to get fit.  With that said, they should leave it in the video game section.  After all, if it encourages all the obese nerdy gamers to get down to normal weight, I'm all for it.  I can do that too!

Fact: America is backwards. We have ideals set that say women have to be a size 4 or smaller, yet at the same time, too many women have no problem getting up to a size 14 or higher. Our ideals say women have to be skinny, while we gorge ourselves to the point of obesity, far beyond the rest of the world.

I will never understand people.

^^We can blame some of that on the crappy 'food' that's available. I think it was a good idea to make it mandatory for all restaurants (including fast-food places) to display the nutrition facts in NYC. Sorry, off topic.

I thought the topic was about playing Wii Fit in womens clothing. I have a couple of pics about myself playing it in women underwear, could post them if you want to.

It's surprising they didn't think this earlier. They sell more Wiis and Wii Fits and after the customers have played it long enough, they come to shop smaller clothing. It's a win-win for Wal-Mart.

@Ita: I'm actually having trouble in seeing the downside, since if the low self-esteemed women decide to buy the product, it will tell them whether they are fat in reality, or just think they are. It also tells if you're underweight. Besides, Wii Fit isn't about losing or gaining weight, it's about encouraging to being active.
