seriously when i bought mine they was one good game in the stand
the worlds ends with you, that was at the very bottom of the stand, the rest was filled with imagine titles and shovelware.

Gameplay mechanics that need to die
Random battles: the only reason they were implemented in the first palce was because there wasn't enough power to display the monsters on screen, turn based is fine, just get rid of random battles.
lives: this was a gimmick in the arcades to get people to put in extra quarters, we don't need them anymore. they are usually just a set back that makes you restart the game where you left off, unnecessary.

My 9 year Old loves the Sonic games even the new ones.
We as adults think the new ones are crap..
Look at some of our old favorite games, how amazing they were, and then play them now and look at the flaws..
I think we expect to much in this day and age..
