But the PSN crowd is not as gullible. However, if they price is accordingly and have a trophy support, it should do well before the sequel is out.

I'm not sure if it would make financial sense after seeing the sales of other late ports.

A PSN only release might do well, with a $29.99 price tag.

Burnout sold over 20k on PSN at that price within 3 weeks, and that was also launched well after release.

Resident Evil games always sell well on any platforms. RE4 would have sold well if the game was ported to the Xbox 360. But Dead Rising is a different game than the RE series therefore a comparison between the two games fails on every level. Just because one game sold on a particula platform does not mean a game or port of a game will sell on a different platform.

it will have far worse sales than ps3 bioshock if capcom are crazy enough to bring Dead rising 1 to ps3 in any shape or form.

My point was that despite RE4 being an old game, it can still sell well.

Ugh, why are PS3 owners bitching about this rumor?

If true, you'll be getting a real gem of a game that few people talk about anymore. If you pass on it, you're missing out on some really brilliant gaming. Your loss.

On the other hand, if Capcom thinks they can port this and charge $60 for it in 2009, they're a bunch of crackheads.
