When I say Hardcore I mean games that not only give me a challenge but Have at least a story that I can follow and Benga Benga thanks for your reply that was actually the kind of answer I was looking for but Ive been seeing Tales of Symphonia 2 getting low marks why is that?

Reviewers think it's too linear, but if you like the original or the Tales series in general you'll probably like it.

hardcore is what you make it to be.

You can make most games hardcore if you want... or not. Some games require you to be hardcore (like FE) some it is optional (Final Fantasy, you can just play the main quest, but if you are hardcore you get all the weapons and summon and such)

even Mario can be hardcore getting all 242 stays is not a casual task. Even in WiiSports there is some hardcorish stuff to do.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I think my next Paycheck im going to Purchase a Wii with Zelda and Smash bros....and Wii is Backwards compatiable? because I also want to play Twin Snakes but dont feel like pulling out my Gamecube from my Brother's house.

The Wii is fully backwards-compatible with GameCube games, though not with all GameCube add-ons (it can't use the Game Boy Player, for example). It also can't go online in any online-enabled GameCube games.

There is plenty of good games on the Wii, and more are coming if you are considering getting one you will have enough games to play without a doubt.
I think BengaBenga have listed some great titles.

Yeah of course there are plenty of good gamer games on Wii. Most of the complants come from Wii gamers that dont have anything to play in the last quater of 2008, but as a new Wii owner youd have a great library to choose from. Ive had mine since January 07 and ive never once found myself wishing for more core games. Now would be a great time to pick up a Wii because of all the great titles coming soon in 09.
