hardcore is what you make it to be.
You can make most games hardcore if you want... or not. Some games require you to be hardcore (like FE) some it is optional (Final Fantasy, you can just play the main quest, but if you are hardcore you get all the weapons and summon and such)
even Mario can be hardcore getting all 242 stays is not a casual task. Even in WiiSports there is some hardcorish stuff to do.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
