ohhhh god another flaming thread...well here is my 2 cents..

1.nintendo will win this generation..they have the momentum and they wont let it go...check DS for references..wii can only get bigger..

2. wii is not just a glorified gamecube with a new kind of control..its a NES a SNES an N64 a GENESIS a NEC and soon a NEO GEO... now we can't complain for getting all that for 250 $ can we.. ;)

About third party support for the wii,

Yes it is coming, and I think we will see game coming in middle 2008.
But what we dont know is :

Which game will come to the Wii ?

- some multiplateform game released on PS3/Xbox360/Wii with graphism adapted for the Wii ?

- exclusive title developped for the Wii ?

in this case :

==> the title will be minigames/party game massively casual targeted ?

==> the title will be "big" game including some mature game ?

Answering these question will help a lot to see if Wii will continue is high speed run over 2008/09.

Thanks m8, :) I hoped to confuse you. Anyways why am I a Sony Fan Boy... I been playing the ps since 1996. One does not give up on games or stop being a fan when they hit 30. I been playing games practically all my life. So If I wanna be a Fan boy I will.

Just go play your Wii little boy. Mario needs you. Oneday, you should go play some real games not games I played as a boy. :(

What amaze me most is job : "human services". 

I haven't read much of this thread as I know for sure 90% of the posts contains flame baits anyway. I'd like to say what I think and that's an "objective opinion".

I don't think the WII will win. I give the WII a lifespan of 2 or 3 years and then the console becomes really outdated and Nintendo needs to come up with another console. Then it depends of how much it will cost Nintendo to create a new console with improved sensor motion (at times they do suck), a harddrive included and High Defenition supported or to say... "next gen".

Around that time it's counterparts Microsoft and Sony Playstation have dropped the price a few times, most likely, so then it really depends on what kind of price tag the "next gen" WII will have and if people around that time are still interested in a new Nintendo console. Perhaps the new console will get a new name and that means... new hardware sales. Unless the name continues to be "WII" then the WII sales might continue from that point. Still if the name will become WII 2, (same with PS, PS2, PS3) Nintendo is starting with new hardware sales while the 360 and PS3 are continueing with their own hardware sales. Considering the fact Sony tells us the PS3 will have a lifespan of about 10 years.

If the recent WII continues to excist for longer, which I highly doubt, then perhaps it will win... but still in the long run I don't think the WII can keep up the sales it has right now. To think all the major Nintendo titles have already been released within a time range of 1,5 - 2 years, while the Gamecube took over 4 years to accomplish that. What will Nintendo have in store then after these 2 years? Another Zelda? Mario Platform? 3rd party developers still as enthusiastic as they are right now?

Of course no one can really predict the future with that, but I think the future of the WII is just as risky as everyone was thinking about the excistence of the WII to begin with.

 No I belive that Wii isn't a fad, that doesn't mean that PS3 can't win (xbox360 is out of the race). I also try to learn from history and no time in history has a consol just died of. I am also looking at the succes of the DS were right software has moved a tremendous amount of units and se the similarities between the PSP and the DS. The PSP has the power, the DS has the new controll input and the new software. PS3 has the power, Wii has the new controll input.

If Wii loose I will admit I was wrong, will you do the same thing when PS3 is 5 million behind the Wii in Japan?

So you think we will see a deciline in Wii sales around 2 months from now, when the big three is hitting USA and we have a holiday season? You must be a joke account.

Lets face it. The Wii guys like don't want to admit that their console is a fad. You all know it is.  You all know it's only due to the gimmick that it sells. I mean without the wii mote would it sell so well?

Typically game that were present in PS2/Xbox/PSX and unfrequent on the Nintendo console.

In other words : CINEMATIC GAME
Typically game opposed to Mario game that only focus on gameplay.

Wii power is largely sufficient to allow CINEMATIC GAME to be released but we still dont know if they will be create.
(RE UC is a good one, but the bad thing is that the "real" sequel is only coming on Xbox360/PS3 (RE5), it is why multiplateform gaming including will allow Wii to win 2008/09 easly, if it happens ofc).

 Your theory is only speculation as is mine.  Just because Disney made a deal with Wii/Ds they have deals with 360 as well.  By the time ff13 comes out the user base for the ps3 will be plenty. I reckon ff13 will be out in late 2008 early 2009 or later!

I maintain it's only coming to the ps3. The only way I'll change my mind is if I see kh1 and kh 2 on the wii. But til then we know it will be on the ps3.  

You say that "I post your own opinion and take no account for others".  Can you accept that if it doesn't go to the Wii you can only play it on the ps3?  No you can't! because you  are convinced that it will be Wii exclusive.  It's a long time before kh3 will be released and you seriously think the ps3 is going to have low numbers. You under estimate the ps3.  You forget the ps2 was expensive, hard to program for and not alot of games ( I know cause I had a launch ps2).  Lets just wait and see.  ps. still keep saving :P
