Im willing to bet that if the ps3 were at $299.99 right now it would be outselling the wii by 2 to 1 in world wide sales.

Well we cant see if it will happen though.

 Seriously amazing that something that costs 600dollars is outselling something that costs $350.00, with no games...with mediocore online..(for now)... the ps3 has some nice potential. Im changing my prediction!!!

 Also.. On topic: IF it wins this gen it will be there first time, no i dont count the 1980s or 90s.

1. Umm...are you talking about the Wii? If you were...then seriously, WTH. The PS3 is not outselling the Wii. The Wii has no games? WTH, what's MP3, TP, SPM, RE4, etc. and soon SSBB, SMG, ToS: KoR (system seller of course), SoL, RE: UC, FFCC: TCB, etc.? 2. Third time*, something Sony isn't accomplishing.
Yes the wii costs 600 dollars, and has mediocore online(which doesnt mediocore is giving it a complement)/sarcasm. Im saying the ps3 has no games against the x360. Read little 8th grader read. And its outselling it.

Why aren't you counting the NES and SNES? They still won those generations, you can't just not count them. So if the Wii wins it will be their third time at first place.

It can be anywere from 7 million exactly 7.00m to maybe as high as 10.00m by january 31st. The chances of that are low, but since its a ps system anything can happen. I am expecting 8 million by that date.

Well for that to happen sales have to drop Ive gone through an estimate, if it continues selling at this pace, then expect it to hit 6.82million sold, but this is not including holiday sales just 100k every week from now to january 31st. This is why I expect it to be somewhere around 8 million. 7.8-8.2m
