Forums - Sales - LBP and the concept of ''legs''...

If a game sells 30k per week 5 month's after it's release, then we can talk about "legs".

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Yeah I agree I was actually thinking the same thing. If they want to see great legs look at things like mario kart wii.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Legs - a title that remains in the top#20, months after release. Doesn't matter so much where in the top#20 - anywhere is fine.

The longer after release, the better the legs. Legs is based on "time after release", rather than position.

#21...#50 (top#50), less so - outside of top#50 - outside definition of "legs".

Best example is Brain Training (DS).

 I 100% agree with you!

The best legs of a non-Nintendo game I have seen recently is Monster Hunter 2G in Japan. Still in the top 50 months after its release.

I think a game with good legs would be a game like Uncharted, which started with less than stellar sales and ended up selling over 2 million copies (without being widely bundled) and is still selling very well to this day!

Uncharted is actually bundled these days.

Wheread LBP might be bundled in Others but it isn't in NA.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Where is LBP bundled?

AS far as Uncharted goes, that game hasn't seen any significant manufacturer bundling until the 160GB PS3 a few months ago.

It is bundled in Europe, together with the 80GB PS3.

That's only in one territory. It's seen pretty good sales in NA, where it isn't bundled.

That bundle has only been around for about two months, before which it was around 1.8 million.
