Yeah, but you know as well as I do that if Sony doesn't cut the price on its console before the release of those big last resort AAAs, then it'll probably have been the worst mistake the company would make this gen.
Those titles are huge, and diminishing the impact of them by retaining a post 400 dollar price point isn't something I believe Sony is ignorant enough to do.

Sounds reasonable to me. However, 360 could get a Fall price-cut as well, and that would even up things a bit...
I expect some kind to price cut for Killzone 2, even if it is temporary. For GT5, If the PS3 is not $300 for the release of that game I will post a video of me smashing my PS3.
Cant help but think Sony are the ones holding back GT5, not PD
