Is KZ2 going to be an assault?  I'm not too concerned about it pushing hardware, I believe that won't be too big of an issue, I think people are more concerned about software.  Now, MGS4 had Japan, so I'll discount those sales, but I'd be extremely disappointed, if WW first week the game didn't clear 900k+.  This game is going to be great, and with all the hype, I'll be devastated if this game isn't near a million on a bigger userbase than MGS4 launched, and lower projected first week sales. 

Of course that's IMO.

You never learn do you? Man, you're gonna be disappointed.

KZ2 first week sales 650,000 copies tops. Im perdictning rufly 450,000 though and 2 mill lifetime.

Halo Wars + SO4 combo will easily outperform KZ2.

I think you not counting any of the other PS3 exclusives is kinda dumb, because they will also help.

1. Naruto: NUNS (January in Japan)
2. Demon's Soul (WW in February)
3. Yakuza 3 (March in Japan)
4. SOCOM (January in Europe)
5. Valkyria Chronicles DLC (January for US) ;)

Not counting rumored releases like Infamous and White Knight (US release)

Ninja Blade will do diddley squat for the Xbox 360 sales. Ninja Gaiden 2 did not do much and I highly doubt this game will be as good as Ninja Gaiden 2.

Also, you would think nearly every Halo Fanboy out there already owns a 360 because of Halo 3. Honestly, how many of them are/were holding out for a Halo RTS? How many people are gonna buy a 360 just for an RTS?

I doubt DLC (despite being GTA4) will have a big prolonged boost to sales

Star Ocean, while a excellent series, isn't exactly a multi-platinum hit, so I don't see a huge surge of console sales here. (a nice temporary boost in Japan, that's it)

as potential good as k2 can be, it's not garanteed success like MGS and GTA series for playstation. On the other hand, Star ocean will probably only succeed in Japan, and Ninja blade will do worse than ninja gaiden. GTA DLC doesn't count. Halo Wars.. It's difficult to say since it's the first time we have anything else than FPS halo

No they can't, but probably Star Ocean 4 though, they obviously have more advanced weapons than the ISA and Helghast. And Halo Wars will rape the Helghast with Energy Swords.
