Probably they've shipped by air straight from the factories in Japan again (IE: January's supply). So I expect another huge number for Wii in next week's numbers followed by modest numbers for the following 2-3 weeks.

I understand that bro, I never said anything that Nintendo made or achieved a milestone this year. It was sort of mandatory for them to increase the supply this year if they wanted the money. And they did I know next week it will decline but this year holiday season wasn't nothing to be expected. Nintendo HAD TO increase. Get that and understand that.

I could care less if you made a thread that said "OMG 360 sales kill PS3". I don't care I'm no fanboy I own all three consoles including both handhelds, both are equal in my book.

I wonder if Nintendo will ever get that kind of receiving in Poland. By far it's the worst selling current gen console this Christmas. If You want to buy one, You can easily find it here. Top seller is 360. And that is not only because 360 Premium (80GB) is cheaper than Wii. PS3 is also more popular than Nintendo console (probably thanks to brand recognition). Besides in Poland many people still associate Wii = gimmick.

My sister wanted to buy a DS for my nephew, she went to 3 Waltmarts in my city and 4 gamestops and didnt find one, I think the 360 will have massive sales too, I went to the mall today and stopped by a gamestop and 2 moms were asking for a 360 and I heard one of the workers say they were out of stock

actually I think there is no Nintendo Poland at all. If nothing changed since last gen, Lucas Toys are the only legal distributor of Nintendo products in my country. And I must say, they don't give a shit about it. I have never seen a Nintendo TV add, poster, or anything of that kind. But there's plenty of 360 commercials in TV, Gears of War 2 adds in the city, and I'm starting to get sick of seeing sackboy on almost every billboard in Warsaw.

If you're living in Poland, you should consider opening up a shop to sell the Wii. It pays to be the first.

but there's no problem in getting a Wii. Just not many consumers to buy them... and I don't have $10m for advertisement. Maybe next gen polish market will be big enough for Nintendo to interest them.
