Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Never played Animal Crossing, will I enjoy AC:CF?

That's weird, I had picked up another copy of A.C., Gamecube, for a friend at Gamestop for 9.99 or 12.99, just a couple of months ago. (I think it was 12.99 now that I think about it.)

Damn, see I always thought simulation games had a goal to be met and then "BOOM" you beat the game. That's how I figured they were like, but since its a on going experience then there is no absolute reason for me to own the previous versions if the Wii version is the definite one to buy.

I will certainly be adding this game to my list of must own Wii games. And should I avoid the Gamecube and NDS incarnations. Since they provide nothing new to the mix?

I was actually thinking about rebuying AC for GCN since the GCN version has NES games that you can play such as balloon fight, punch out, clu clu land, and a few others ( I think Ice Climbers also).  I used to love Balloon fight and if I can find GCN on sale for 5-10 dollars then it would be well worth it for me since I have an old saved file that has all the NES games in the game on it already.

Edit - oops I guess someone already addressed the old NES games being on GCN version...

yes.

Great. Sounds fun! I do like simulation games, anyway...
I'm planning to pick this game up sometime soon, probably early next year.

Thanks!
