@Paperdiego 18,000,000 People disagree with you, If M$ Or Ninty charged 600$ For their system, do you really think theyd get as far as Sony has?

This list didn't include the time Sony was caught using false advertising with a fictional critic for some of their movies. They created this guy, David Manning, of the Ridgefield Press, and he gave Sony movies great reviews. Sony pretended they were innocent, but settled out of court for $1.5 million, and fired two of their employees.

The movies were A Knight's Tale, Hollow Man, The Patriot, Vertical Limit, and The Animal. The false ads were in 2001, and Sony had to pay the $1.5 million in 2005. So they were already pretty bad before the rootkit scandal and the exploding laptop batteries.

On dishonest activities missed on this list, there was also no mention of Sony paying professional artists in major US cities to paint graffiti on walls to show grass-roots support for the PSP.

Are there any negative timelines like this for Wii or Xbox 360. Lists like these are great reads, negative things are way more interesting then positive news like the two above posts. So interesting.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one.  That one was really great because it even pissed off a lot of my non-gaming friends who were into art or graffiti, and they've hated Sony ever since.  They didn't know about rootkits or false advertising or all the awesome quotes from Sony execs concerning their fans who would work 2nd jobs to buy PS3s even if they had no games, but they all now know Sony as the company who hires professional artists to pretend they're local graffiti artists, as if local graffiti artists want to advertise for consumer electronic game and media devices.  Even better than All I Want For Christmas Is A PSP, because at least that one was embarrassingly hilarious to watch.
