Forums - Gaming - Braid on PS3? Depends if Sony are interested

I played Braid on a friends computer and really liked it. Recently I entered a contest through Pepsi or Mt. Dew and actually won the game for free. It really is fun and challenging at times I think most people would like it.

This would be cool, though I hope it is less than $15.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

lol then watch all the 360 fans say it aint a AAA title anymore because its downloadable arcade game if it come

Why? When it happened with Bioshock, everyone was very supportive and telling PS3 owners they should buy it because of how good it was.

If anything your statement is much more true for PS3 owners that lose exclusives. Go look at threads about FF XIII and Tekken 6.

If this ends up happening, it looks like I'm going to have to go on another campaign to get people to buy this gem. Sony would be stupid to turn this down...again.

This. All of this, but especially the bolded.

@Onyxmeth

So Sony have shot this down before? I figured that it sounded that way in the article but I honestly never heard anything about it.

What a bunch of morons.

Yeah. Jonathon Blow shopped the game to Sony before Microsoft and they shot him down. That's how it ended up on 360.

Yeah. Blow approached them first, but they weren't interested. Then somebody at Microsoft, a passing acquaintance of his, pursued the game on MS's behalf.

For some odd reason I just didn't get the hype behind Braid.

What do you mean? You didn't think it was justified or you didn't see any hype at all?

Braid didn't really have any pre-release hype. It earned every bit from word of mouth from those that played through it and loved it.
