The game was announced over 1 year ago to be on the Wii. It has been in development for even longer. I would not be shocked at all if this was true.

Games on separate systems don't compete. But I doubt this will stand. Probably a placeholder. Generally you want separate weeks for big games so that they generate their own hype as hype can hurt other games. Unfortunately, RE5 would be the one hurt, not MH3.
