Both games release in the same month and I think a week apart so with that said, do you think F.E.A.R. 2 sales will be hammered due to Killzone 2 or vice versa? I say a big fat YES, KZ2 is much more hyped and would think the majority of people would choose Killzone 2 over F.E.A.R. 2. I just dont understand why F.E.A.R. 2 has not been pushed back at least for the PS3, sales will be devearly affected due to Killzone 2.

FEAR series has a dedicated following most of which are on the PC.

I will bet you any money that FEAR 2 on PC+PS3+360 outsells Killzone 2...on ps3 only obviously so its not a big achievement...

Nevertheless FEAR 2 willl do just fine.

Edit -  Review scores will have a big say in Killzone 2's fate. But both games should do fine if they rate 85+

first off fear is FPS /horror genre(main reason i m not getting it).let's hope they don't do another shoddy port version on the consoles like the first fear.

God I LOVED the first one so much. Excellent game. I have so many stories with it! GO GO Monolith, and hopefully make AVP3 soon. Considering FEAR> Killzone I dare say that KZ2 should be pushed back. I do however hope that they focused on the PC then they worried about consoles and not vice versa, and with what Gamespy jsut mentioned it might seem like it (too many things you can do in battle they said, boo-fucking-hoo, I'd much rather have that over some watered down combat).

P.S. I'm extremely hyped up for this game, been waiting for it since I finished up FEAR.

oh god i cant w8 for fear 2, the first one was amazing, and this is probably gunna be the few games which sel better on PC than consoles, like left 4 dead and the orange box.

Only the PS3 port of FEAR was shoddy. The XBox 360 version of FEAR was playable and enjoyable and not plagued by frame rate issues.

F.E.A.R 2 sales on PS3 will be impacted by Kill Zone 2 which offers the same shooter experience.

Yep Killzone 2 will definitely eat into F.E.A.R 2 sales for the PS3, end of the day both are mainly shooters.

fear is good game, and for me, it is more satisfied with more enchancement to Fear 2 than KZ2 does.
