Forums - Gaming - No Other Console Game this Gen Will match Crysis Graphics(56k)!

If you have a computer that can actually max out the settings in Crysis, then yah, thats probably better than anything you've seen on a console. Sadly Crysis just wasn't all that fun :/

I agree in that the middle of the game kind of sucked. I know people say otherwise, but I think that the game actually gets better once you get out of the alien ship and find yourself on a frozen island.

The start of the game was really good, but then the gameplay became boring and repetative. I found that attacking aliens made the game feel more exciting and I started to have more fun.

Crysis warhead fixes alot of the issues of the first Crysis, I really liked the singleplayer of warhead.

Yes, taking out the human enemies felt much better than it did in Crysis.

Doesn't matter how good the Crysis looks if the $2,000.00 laptop I bought at Best Buy in 2007 can't come anywhere near running it.

It matter cause it's still better. If you can't run it tough luck.

It doesn't matter to me.  And unless people want to go out and buy alienware pcs they can't run these pc games at maximum resolutions.  That is why consoles and console games will always sell better.

Heavens to Murgatoids.

Reminder : this topic is NOT about :
1) The supposed price of a rig to run Crysis smoothly,
2) Is Crysis a fun game or not.

Thanks.

PC rules

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)
PC: 10^9
Wii: 10^8

OT.

Last pages several people have said that to them the difference between Crysis (decent settings) and top PS360 games is not "that huge".

IMO, the difference is THAT huge. (but i play on a 52" Bravia LCD with a 8800 GTS 512 Mo)

Or they could just get a pc built, or build one yourself for many times less the price of a comparable Alienware.
