While sales are phenomenal it's library is actually incredibly kack. PS2 had a great lineup of AA/AAA titles, Wii 's library compared to 360 or evne PS3 is lacking. That's why it's even more funny someone would say wii had better games than PS2. The ****** GAMECUBE has a better library than the wii.

The Wii already outsold the ps2 at the same point in it's lifetime, so the Wii will outsell the ps2, easily.

LOL -- The Wii's library is a superset of the gamecube. It has full BC with the gamecube. Tell me, how can the gamecube have a better library than the wii, when the wii includes all gamecube titles in addition to all wii titles???
Not to mention hunreds of titles from NES, SNES, Sega, TurboFrafx, Neo Geo, N64, and others. It is funny how some people underestimate the library of the wii. Just because a game is 10 years old doesn't mean it's not fun any longer.

Two reasons your argument is flawed, one, Wii makes profit, so Nintendo has no reason to release a "Wii 2"; secondly, even after the sucessor is released,. the Wii will probably still sell for a few more years, just like in every other generation

Have you ever considered that most of the people currenently buying a PS2 are those who want a wii but can not find one. Once they can get a wii, they will.
If you don't beleive me, find someone who recently bought a PS2.

just because something is making profit doesn't mean that they won't release a wii 2 come on it's business and secondly even if it does sell after, it doesn't change the fact that it won't sell like it is now.
