Kwaad I'm Russian but I don't love Stalin. You sound like a racist.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.

There is nothing particularly special about Hitler besides the scale that he took everything to ... I get frustrated at every aniversary of WWII I hear about because some politician gets in front of everyone and says "Never Again!" while dozens of mad men are killing hundreds of thousands of people simply because of who they are ... The bigotry still runs rampant at both sides of the political spectrum in the western world, liberals spend their time claiming all of their problems are cause by "evengelical christians" while conservatives focus their attention on the terrorist "muslums" ... I fear we haven't learned our lesson and we will get a much more difficult lesson in the future ...
I do not beleive in racism. I think it's wrong. I think who you are defines who you are. Hitler attacked a race... As a rally-call. Kinda like america is doing the 'terrorist' However a terrorist is a lot more vague... it surpasses race. It is still a name of 'the bad guys' I'm not saying killing them is good. Far from it. But can you name me any other person who created a war machine and took over a quarter the world in a few months, and finally be defeated when 2 armies 10x bigger attacked it. And once agian. America killed more innocents than germany killed. I'm not saying germany was right for killing innocents. But neither was america. I admire hitler as a genius. I know for a fact he wasn't sane tho.

I really wish people would stop assuming they know what is really going on in Iraq. I assure you, you do not. Or assuming that members of our armed forces who put their lives on the line for you are a bunch of genocidal heartless robots with guns. I assure you, they are not. In fact, I couldn't care less what someone thinks of a certain video game or console, but I take it very personally when someone makes comments like some of the ones in this thread.

Wow... I'm not sure whether I'm more dissapointed in Kwaad for his stupidity, or you other guys for not pointing it out yet. 1) Being a "terrorist" is a choice. Just like being a rapist or a murderer. You can be a terrorist in Ireland just as easily as Iraq, just as easily as Oklahoma, just as easily as in Buenos Aires. Hell, in Buenos Aires, the terrorists were the *government.* Nothing racist about it. Nothing vague about it, either. You commit an act of terror, you are a terrorist. just like if you commit an act of rape, you are a rapist. 2) Combining Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were the largest portion of civilian (key word: CIVILIAN) deaths on the Asian front, you get roughly 250,000. I would be *extremely* surprized if US-caused civilian deaths in Asia exceeded 1 million. 3) At the very basic minimum, using the most conservative estimates available, Germany had a starting point of 10 million civillians killed, *before* you take into account collateral damage that was incurred when they, y'know, invaded most of Europe. That, by the way, tacks on another 10 million from the Russian front alone. Ten million CIVILIANS. Russia lost a total of 20 million people in WWII. Now, I'm not saying you can't have your opinions. I disagree with them. I consider them personally offensive, but I'm not going to tell you that you can't have them. Just make sure that your facts are in fact true before you say them and not, say, gross imbellishments and outright lies. See, 'cause what you've said in this thread is mostly the latter.
