YEA. I second that. This just shows that people buy controllers.

Plus look at the Wii Fit, it only sells close to the PS3 in sales when its only 1/4 the price($90). Pretty sad imo. This shows that the PS3 is awesome and nothing can stop it:

1. Cheap blu ray players=nope

2. Xbox 360=nope

3. Wii=nope

4.Price=nope

 Yes, the "trolling" in this thread is completely fine. Well, maybe 1, 2 or 3 posts aren't interesting, but mainly people keep it calm and discuss in a good way.

NOPE, some people have TASTE and some people NOT. There is a difference between people, who start gaming from nintendogs, brain training, wii play, wii fit and those who start from contra, castlevania, megaman, resident evil, street fighter.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

i just joined so i could reply to this stupid post! look why are you comparing sales of a £300 console to a £30 game thats just pointless. there are wii games which have outsold xbox 360s as well why dont u compare them?? ¬_¬
