....and how does it compare to this generation? the reason I ask is, I personally have never bought more than around 10 (at max by the end of the generation) and I would not class myself as a "core" or "casual" gamer, just get whatever looks appealing. The Wii however has made me fork out a ton and not even know it im almost at 20 games (3 short) and if you can count VC and WW im at 30+ titles this gen....

And to top it off theres other titles that are must buys for me (either released or waiting to be released). This is all before I have even got round to gettin a PS3 (I only want it for MGS4 so that can wait, thank god my brother has the 360 covered otherwise my wallet would be none existant).

If I wasn't poor at the moment I would have bought more Wii retail games than I did for N64.

My profile games page shows all the games I ever owned... Wii has already passed GC including Wiiware.

I own about 50 or 60 gamecube games, and so far I've gotten about 30 on the Wii. I'd own a few more Wii games if I had more money, but sadly I'm in University now so money is harder to come by, and no thanks to our economy.

Only compared those two since they're the consoles I own the most for.

I bought well over 100 for the PS1. I traded in the vast majority of these games and got a PS2 for free. I've bought well over 100 games for the PS2 and at least 80 for the Gamecube.

Right now, I have about 20-30 Wii games, 40-60 Xbox 360 games, and maybe 6-7 PS3 titles (downloadable games are included in the totals). Still throwing my money away!!

well i never was that heavy a gamer to buy that many games... you guys put me to shame :( but seriously im suprised by how much im spending on VC and WW which seems like a trojan horse attacking my wallet when I actually work out how much i've spent.. well no more games for a while, out of work right now, i'll be a deadbeat, thats what students do right?

I had 10-15 games on super nes, a little less than 100 games on psone, a little more than 100 on pstwo. I have now 25 games on psp and 25 games on ps3. I have no doubt that I'll have more than 100 games on ps3 and probably around 35-40 games on PSP.

Before that only a handful (less than 10 each for PS1, N64, SNES, NES), mostly did rentals.

My PS1 has 5 games, my PS2 has 22, my PSP has 3, my PS3 has 13.
