Just the 2006/2007 mistake as I said in the other reply. Anyway, the jump is about the same, so the answer is still "probably not" :P EDIT- I saw your edit. 594k was the week ending 21st of December. The following week saw a drop, so I don't see how that affects this thread.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you think next week will be the biggest sales week of the year?
I think the problem with the previous christmas's was the days the 25th fell on.

It's just a two day difference from last year. I guess this year sales will be more balanced between the two weeks (i.e. Christmas/pre-Christmas week), which probably makes it even harder to have a 1 million week.

Well now you got me confused! I agree with you and I agree with me ... I guess we're just going to have to wait.
to be honest i don't see it happening even though that would be awesome and definatley something to talk about. I think more around 800,000 max. But thats just me. is it possible? theoretically.
My prediction for the highest it will hit this year is ~940,000. But like i said, there is a chance (albeit a small one) it could make it to seven figures.
Unlikely.
The advantage last year had was that Christmas was on a Tuesday, so you had a much bigger ramp-up for Christmas in those 7 days, but it was followed by a massive drop in sales.
Since Christmas this year is on a Thursday, the dropoff shouldn't be as large - but the disadvantage is that next week's sales are unlikely to see massive increases.
I was hoping for a 1m+ week, but I think we're gonna see 2 weeks above 700,000 which is very good. All that matters is the LTD total, not some special 'watermark' of 1 million units. Had the week been different (if Christmas was on a Saturday through Tuesday), I fully think it'd hit 1m. But it's doubtful.
We should see 900-950k this current week followed by 700-750k next week.
For reference, last year, the X360 only sold 1 million units the rest of the year - so it looks like the X360 may increase, YoY by 50% which is awesome.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
close to 900k is my guess.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
