I absolutely hate sandbox games, often ends up becoming repetitive, but I'm willing to give this one a try since they say it's short.

I don't think the game looks that great. It looks like it plays like GTA 4 with super powers. I have more hype for prototype.

Eh... have you seen the full gameplay videos.  Either the guy demoing it... who made the game... sucks at it... or the aiming is a pain in the ass.  It uses the GTA style shooting almost.

I mean look at how even in this Gif he misses the first shot at his opponent hitting the to of the car.

The guys in the gameplay videos seemed to miss left and right with their powers.

even though it looks like fun to shock and zap everything (and the pole-riding thing was also neat), I still get a Assassin's creed-vibe. As in "same ol' sam ol'"

It doesn't look as if he can do a whole lot, just a repetition of a few standard tricks (which are nice), but it looks like it can get stale and boring after 2 hours...

Not completely convinced at this point.

 Yeah, prototypes combat looks like it's a little better done.  Though the ranged gameplay is almost as worrying.  It's a minor aspect of the game though.

 Maybe the dev guy is right handed?
