They should do the follow up to Majora's Mask and elaborate on what happend after Termina...that's a big fat plot-hole just waiting to be filled.

I'm shocked anyone who plays TP would say the Zelda series isn't putting enough emphasis on story.

That said, the art style would be nice if it was about the same as TP. Very earthy, very realistic.

Some subjects that would make interesting Zelda games:
The Hylian War (prequel to Ocarina of Time)
The Great Flood (distant prequel to The Wind Waker)
The Imprisoning War
Flood's End (distant sequel to The Wind Waker / distant prequel to A Link to the Past)

I want Nintendo to branch off and do two zeldas the cel shaded universe and the more realistic universe.... I know this will never happen but hey one can imagine.

Also they need to make the bosses hard i mean TP was ridiculously easy.... too easy in fact

I personally find the Zelda series refreshing compared to other console games. It isn't the same old thing that every other dev makes ie: shooter, beat 'em up, roleplaying, sports, criminal plot line ect.
If they do overhaul the sereis they would have to keep the items and dungeon exploration, mini-games and characters. Changing any of that no longer makes it a Zelda game. Besides, changing a franchise drastically that gets Game of the Year nearly every time it releases a sequal would not make sense.

As far as what I'd like to see in the next game, Magic should definately return. I also would like the difficulty upped a bit overall. I'd also like a few more creative items and more dungeons.

Well, I guess I am the only one who loved WW art style. That game had so much style and emotion that just seems to be lost making the transition to realistic graphics.

A new game that focuses on Zelda might be nice. And honestly, some cleaning up of the timeline(s) would be really nice.

Focuses on Zelda? That could be risky...we don't want another Wand of Gamelon.

I think the Zelda series is overdue for a good mix'em'up title that changes the dynamic. But I doubt they would be willing to do it considering the success of the formula they have been using for oh so long.

At the very least I think the 1:1 sword play would be very popular and it would be a huge benefit to the Wii overall. It basically would act as a proof of concept and I think could ultimately result in a number of interesting games and possibly a new genre...I know everyone has been anticipating Light Saber duals since E306! Or at least I have =P

Though I like my Wii and enjoy the controller experience, I don't think the technology found in the Wii controller is capable of doing 1:1 response.  It is pretty easy to move your arm/hand faster than the Wii controller can update the screen.  I think two things are going to be needed for true 1:1 gameplay:  First, more processing power in the Wii itself.  Though the unit is technically pretty solid, that's a drastic amount of real-time physics to update and they'll have to be updated with a staggering refresh rate to keep up with a rapidly moving controller.  The second is the wireless technology in the Wii controller.  I don't believe the inherent lag time will allow for true 1:1 even if the Wii hardware can handle the physics.  It will probably take a much higher quality accelerometer/gyroscope to have the precision that is going to be needed for mind boggling 1:1 gameplay control in 3D space.  I do believe we will see it in the second generation Wii.  The controller has proven the merits of it's design and the 1.0 has exceeded even Nintendo's wildest dreams...

Humm... In my opinion, it would be cool if new Zelda was OoT styled.
