Yeah cause moving from being the Industry leader in the last generation to being in last place with a console that loses money is a great success...........

 

At least MS had made some money and doing better then their last machine (Epic Fail if they wouldn't :) )

 

I can tell you a secret......the gap between PS3 and Wii is even bigger than the gap between 360 and Wii.....



Predictions for 2009:

360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70

Future projection

Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)

NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)

Where are you getting 100k different from? In NA it outsold it by more than 100k and it outsold the PS3 by about 340k WW.

The margin is 324k WW and 208k in the US when the PS3 sold 450k WW and 180k US, that's close to double WW and over double US

What 100k are you talking about?

 Well acording to vg 360 sales this week are nearly 2 to 1 in favour of 360.

funny how you and infamy are spinning numbers, he said this week. which to me means the total numbers for the week.

 Actually after the MGS4 month of June the 360 and PS3 were pretty much neck and neck up until the price cut.

From 1st July to 13th Sept (day before price cut) PS3 sold 1.6m worldwide and 360 sold 1.5m worldwide. So i think if there was not a price cut for the 360 it still would of gone to outsell the PS3 in holiday period.

A real problem for the PS3 fanboys is they are so pissed off that they forget to see that the 3 months following MGS4 the 360 was only outsold by 100k worldwide by the PS3. That is not very much is it considering now the 360 outsells it 350k a week worldwide. To me that shows the 360 was still compeating with the PS3 and doing ok before the price cut. I think if there was no price cut the 360 would of still gone on to sell more in the holiday period then the PS3. But guess were never know hey.

I'm not spinning numbers, neither is Infamy.

We were talking about two differnent things. I was talking about the difference. Like 739,922 - 415,754. Or the NA sales subtracted. He was talking about the 2:1 ratio. There was no spin, simply a misunderstanding. Which is why I asked.

Nice try on trying to say I was spinning things though.
