Steam punishes Finns for Euro
Valve has made an expensive decision, as far as finnish consumers are concerned. Steams attractive dollar prices have been switched to euro prices, with a 1 dollar = 1 euro principle that's radically different from current currency exchange rates. Steams new euro prices do include taxes, but that's not much of a consolation since IRL, 1 euro = 1,47 dollars. This results in a huge price hike for finnish Steam customers.

While the text mentions only Finns, I'm quite sure that the change affects Europe as a whole. Hell, the brits may even get the 1 dollar = 1 pound- treatment, which is even worse.
I don't personally use Steam, but this is still pretty damn stupid. Not only will this move upset many Steam customers, but several (online) retail stores actually sell their games cheaper now than Steam does, let alone auction sites like eBay.
