can you tell me what stop motion is? maybe I'll know the movie

 Oh yah... ABBA singstar... duh! I got confused when i got to the iceland part because thats where resistance 2 starts.

It's where you use a model and adjust it just a tiny bit, photograph, then make the next tiny adjustment, etc. The movement looks sort of jerky and generally awesome. If you've seen the original King Kong, that was done with stop motion.

Claymation movies are also stop motion. So Wallace and Gromit or other similar works.
