....... I'm sorry this don't look like the videos showed on Gametrailers looks like youraverage MMO

........

Blue dots display my displeasure with that video. Is it old?

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

That is a poor review.

I read them and here are what they say.

First guy: The White Knight Keren and the enemy Boss' powers are good. The offline play is well balanced and can be played without having to strain oneself, but there are several little annoying aspects of the game play. The online play where you can talk and adventure with a friends in realtime could use an auto battle and auto run system. Its difficult to chat while running around or fighting.

score 7

Second guy: Being able to make your own combos, change your AC, and developing individual skills through battle is fun. The large enemies in the game are amazingly powerful. The online chat is difficult to do but they set up the online like a social networking site (SNS) and there seems to be the possibility for large network communication.

score 8

What the fuck?????

So the scores are lowered by 2 and 3 because of some damn communication issues?????? The first dude wanted "Auto-run" because he found it hard to talk and play?????

Is it like SOCOM where you have to hold down some button to speak or something??? WTF!!!???

I'm picking this game up. This review = BS to me...

No, that video is actually the commercial showed on the Japanese HOME. It's from this week.

Theory:

That score might be a good thing in a way. Famitsu doesn't grade western games very well, so maybe it received that score BECAUSE it might appeal to western gamers more. It's really hard to determine what score on what type of game is best from Famitsu.

You'd think this would be bad for a jrpg, but it could be because THEY didn't feel a certain vibe from it. Maybe people in Europe and America will indeed like it.

This will only take a moment of your time. *steals your watch*

That video looks like your regular MMO because that's the online portion of the game, it's the only thing shown in the video. How is that an issue? An MMO looks like an MMO.

The videos from before on Gametrailers were the single player, which isn't shown in this video, and that's why the two don't look too much like each other.

This is what the kid would look like if a .hack game mated with a Monster Hunter game. Not sure if it's a good thing or not.

I don't know how many times this has already been said on this board. Never read the Famitsu reviews, only look at their score. Famitsu respects the game developer and rarely put down a game, even if it sucks.

You may think it's worthless, but Famitsu has a lot of credibility in Japan. Also, this is not just a single review saying the game is mediocre, 4 reviewers are saying the game is mediocre. Unless Sony pulls a Microsoft and markets this game properly (which they won't) it will hardly sell.

Good news Everyone!

I've invented a device which makes you read this in your head, in my voice!

Ouch, but then again they gave Haze 34/40 so what does that tell you?

They gave Nintendogs a 40/40, they aren't 100% reliable...

With sales of over 20 million, I'd say that review got some pretty strong endorsement

rofl haze got 34??...rofl...wtf...
