My answer:  I think a 360, because of Live, Netflix, and it would be the cheapest way for me to play the two titles I'm interested in most -- Bioshock & FFXIII.  The only thing really pulling me to PS3 at the moment is MGS4.

In no way a 360. The games are good, but the console itself is crap. The Xbox is very loud, scratches DVDs and every third one got broken.

So I would buy a PS3. But to be honest a PC would be a better choice.

Id go PS3 for Blu-Ray. For games i only want Dead Space and maybe Lair, the only excluive on the 360 that interest me is Mass Effect.

Wait... are you aware the PS3 is no longer Backward Compatible?
You can't play PS2 games on PS3 (unless you got an old 60gb version).
In others words, you can no longer find a PS3 on the market that wiil play PS2 games.

On the other side, Xbox 360 is backward compatible with 478 Xbox1 games.

The Backward Compatibility is now a strong Microsoft feature.
I think it was a bad move from Sony to cut costs by removing the PS2 hardware chip in the PS3.

 

 Playstation 3 is Backward Compatible with over 1000 ps1 games(every single one of them)

100% 360.... I'll never get a PS3...Nothing against it, I just don't want to spend that much... and it doesn't have the games that would warrant a purchase...
