How can someone know we are in for a surprise when the end of year numbers are in unless they can see into the future?

Are they always going to come this late in the week?
It used to be Monday, Others hard and soft; Tuesday, American hard/soft; Wed Japan hard/soft.
Now it's Monday, Others hard; Thursday, Japan and America Hard, and maybe Other's soft; And somewhere between thurs and Saturday, American Soft.
It's been like that for a while now. I miss updates timed to the minute.
A schedule feature would be nice. I would thoroughly enjoy a feature where we know when the data is coming, not complaining, as I'm sure lots of stuff is on Big Boss' plate, but just for organizational purposes. We know when MC and Famitsu and NPD comes every week, and month respectively.

don't you remember ioi making a statment a while back saying numbers weren't going to be coming that early in the week any more due to him wanting to be more accurate with the numbers?
Anyways, the numbers are up, as soon as they are available. The only way to make a schedule is to pick times you are guaranteed to have the numbers complete. That would mean picking dates later than the earliest possible time. So instead of the numbers coming in by Thursday, you would be forced to wait until Friday so you could match your schedule.
