Sadly, not a single game they have ever made could even begin to be on a console, much less "properly played" on one. In fact of the 3 consoles, the Wii would be the ONLY one which would be able to control them, albeit quite poorly. Also the fact that they do not focus on graphics at all, but on things that actually matter and are worth the money, means they would probably be doing Wii games, not Xbox/Playstation games.

Edit: Minor extra word that made no sense at all.

The many games they released prior to making even one PC game would like to have a word with you. Plenty of their games can and have been made to work on consoles. While I would not recommend a straight port of one of their big 3 franchises, I will say that it would be entirely possible to make them work if thats what Blizzard really wanted.

I think they'd make a console exclusive game designed for consoles. Their current lineup of games are far to fast paced to be properly played on a console (except for maybe the wii). I truly think they'd design something thats catered specifically for the format and not port one of their pc games. They did that in the past and it wasn't very successful. I doubt they'll take that road again. Whether said games use an existing ip or a new one is anyones guess.

I'd be excited to see the results.

Hence why I said if they did go in that direction they'd most likely design the mechancs of the game so that they do actually work well with consoles. They'd most likely find an existing popular genre that works well on consoles (and sells well) and then make an ultra polished revision of said genre. I can see them either working on the wii due to the control method and marketshare or the 360 for the pc like archiceture. But at this point its all conjecture anyway as they're completely pc (windows + mac) exclusive and nearly all of their games from 10 years ago to game released a few years ago still sell so its not like they have any ecenomic incentive to go to the consoles. Plus it would further damage their relationship with their existing pc fanbase.

World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3 on console should be sweet.

Bah I'll take Diablo 3 for 360 and the PS3 can have World of Warcraft

okay world of warcraft is so lame. you can have it free.

I say Diablo 3 would be a good choice, based on the gameplay video published so far. Blizzard is rich, and SCII and Diablo are going to sell like hotcakes, but push 4-5 million console units at 60 bucks a pop can't hurt.

Just another point that they'd have to overcome. Multiplayer is their big one, BLizzard's games have always been top notch when they take in the multiplayer direction. They also already have Battle.net and support their own MMO, the biggest one in fact, more people probably log on WoW daily than on Live or PSN. Therefore I doubt they'd be too happy with Microsoft or Sony, and Nintendo would never allow them the freedom they wanted. That is unless Blizzard starts a bidding war and sees who will bend over the farthest to kiss their ass....

I think it would be cool if the 360 WoW ran on it's own servers, like a Private server network and thus Live Gold players wouldn't be charged extra for using Blizzards MMO servers, to me that would make/break the popularity of this title, because most people already have it for PC at this point.

What if, and what if Microsoft pay Blizzard to create the trio of Diablo, Star Craft and WOW and make it xbox 360 consol exclusive!!! I think that might just end the life of the PS3. I mean can you imagine and Microsft do have the money. I can dream, can I?

Serious since porting games from the PC to the 360 is so easy why not? Blizzard can make a killing and from game sale and exclusive $$$ from Microsoft.

I've always thought that Blizzard could make more money buy releasing some of their games onto consoles. Good if it happens, but either way I'll stick to getting my games on PC whenever I can.
