@Game_boy: Look up the black pearl, I'm pretty sure he's OCing. Also I assume it's 2x150GB 10000rpm HDs in Raid 0 which go for ~190 a piece. And you shaved off ~1k on the processor. I'd also assume it was built a few months back (late May) when everything was a bit more expensive.

@fnl164: Do you have a second rig or are ya planning on chaning the mobo already? I'm fairly certain it won't take ddr3.

I bought 2 cases, one for windows Vista and the other just for newer upgrades and for mac leaprad

Nice.. wth do you do for a living?! Hehe

AMD Athlon 64 3000 (1.8Ghz)
1 Gig DDR (I think)
ATI ASUS Extreme AX550 (256MB)
19'' Phillips Flatscreen
OS: Win 2000
Couple of hard disks, nothing special
Bluetooth, memory card adapter, GBA cart programmer

I have an older computer that my dad built.

It has a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz and a 9800 Pro video card and Windows XP. It's a pretty good machine, but we don't play a whole lot of games on it any more. My dad used to game a lot on the computer with command and conquer, half life 2, darwinia, doom3, and some others stuff, but he's stopped gaming almost completely lately.

Most of the games on the PS2, but now I have a Wii!

Been a LONG while since I upgraded...
Processor: 2.8 Ghz Celeron
Graphics Card: Geforce 6200 (512Mb)
Memory: 1G (x2 512) @266Mhz
Motherboard: MSI
Operating System: Win XP

It runs Supreme Commander on the largest map with max players...be it at minimum detail at a steady game speed of ~ minus 2 :)

Good to see this site is still going

Supreme Commander was pretty bad about resources, a lot of people had issues with it, especially when using the dual monitor setup

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

Forgive me for not knowing my video cards. I'm in the process of upgrading my systems to superior cards anyhow.

I have four systems - two desktops and two laptops.

Desktop 1:
Processor: Pentium 4 3.2 GHz
Hard drive: 160GB 7200 RPM, 400GB 7200 RPM, partitioned
Memory: 2GB (2x 1GB DDR SDRAM)
Operating System: C:Vista (160GB), X:XP (60GB), Y:Ubuntu (40GB), Z:Netware (300GB)

Desktop 2:
Processor: AMD Athlon 2.1GHz
Hard drive: 160GB 7200 RPM
Memory: 512MB (2x 256 DDR SDRAM, upgrading to 2x 1GB DDR SDRAM ASAP)
Operating System: WinBORG XP

Laptop 1:
Processor: AMD Sempron 3300+ (2.0GHz)
Hard drive: 100GB 7200 RPM
Memory: 1GB (2x 512 DDR)
Operating System: XP

Laptop 2:
Processor: Unsure, 1.6 GHz
Hard drive: 60GB 5400 RPM
Memory: 512MB (2x 256 DDR)
Operating System: XP

The first desktop is an HP, with an NVidia GeForce 7500LE graphics card. I'm upgrading it ASAP to something DX10 compatible, with dual monitor capibilities. I'm not sure what I want beyond that, though. When I upgrade that, I'm going to switch the video card (maybe temporarily until I get another better card) into the second desktop, which I purchased from a friend for $100. Said second desktop has a GeForce 5500 card in it, I believe.

The laptops are obviously the older of the systems. The first, I purchased for college and have upgraded the RAM and the hard drive. The second was a high-school graduation present for my wife (and the oldest of all four systems, which shows in its specs. It also has a strange issue with randomly shutting down on its own, a problem we've so far been unable to solve. We don't use it).
